Information we collect

Hospital Price Lookup does not ask for, collect, or store any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no newsletter, and no forms that submit your data to us. We set no first-party cookies. To keep the site free it shows ads through Google AdSense — the one third party that may set cookies in your browser; the Advertising section below explains what that means and how to opt out.

How the price lookup works

The procedure and metro you choose are used only, in your own browser, to open the matching price page. Those choices are never transmitted to or stored by us. The site is a set of static pages — there is no server that receives your inputs.

Analytics

We measure aggregate traffic (such as page views and rough country-level location) using a privacy-preserving analytics service that does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors. We use it only to understand which pages are useful, never to profile or track people across sites.

Advertising

Hospital Price Lookup shows third-party ads through Google AdSense to help cover hosting and data costs. When ads are served, Google and its advertising partners may set and read cookies or use device identifiers to serve, cap, and measure ads — and, where permitted, to show ads relevant to your interests. That activity is controlled by the ad network under its own privacy policy, not by this site.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including its advertising cookies) to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. Advertising never alters a published figure: every price on this site comes from hospitals' own price-transparency files, and ads never affect which hospitals appear, the prices shown, or how they are ordered.

Links to other sites

Pages may link to hospitals, insurers, or official sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control; review their policies when you visit them.

Children

The site is a general-audience price reference and is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Material changes — such as the introduction of third-party advertising in July 2026 — are reflected in the relevant section above.
