Why Sleep Study prices differ so much between hospitals
The widest split is attended in-laboratory polysomnography versus an unattended home sleep test — different codes, and frequently an order-of-magnitude difference in price. Within laboratory studies, a diagnostic night, a split-night study and a titration study for positive-airway-pressure settings are all separate codes. Any resulting equipment is a further cost entirely outside the study.
